Logistics about the Big Day

We are so honored that you are coming to our wedding. Here are some resources to make your trip a little easier

Accommodation

We have reserved a block of rooms at the following hotels. When making your reservation, be sure to mention that you are a part of the Fuller/Newell Wedding and reserve by the cut-off dates below to receive the wedding block rate.

Please note that we will provide transportation from our Church in Georgetown to our reception at the Chevy Chase Club. Even if you do not choose to stay at either of these hotels, we encourage you to stay in Georgetown to enjoy our favorite neighborhood and be close to all the celebrations.

The Melrose Hotel

We've reserved a block of rooms at The Melrose Hotel in Foggy Bottom, which is a 20-minute walk to the church and just across the bridge from Georgetown. This hotel is close to the Foggy Bottom metro, which makes it easy to explore the city without a car.

Glover Park Hotel

While the Glover Park Hotel is not located in Georgetown and furthest from the church, it is located in the neighborhood where Terrell grew up and where Jack’s family still lives. We recommend this hotel for those who are driving into the city because it offers the most affordable parking.

Questions?

  • Will there be transportation?

We will provide transportation from Christ Church Georgetown to the Chevy Chase Club and back to Georgetown to the hotels we have reserved.

  • Is there a dress code?

The dress code is black tie. If your tux has maybe “shrunk while at the dry cleaner,” a dark suit is perfectly acceptable. Please note that the clubhouse requires a coat and time after 6 p.m.

    What is the dress code?
  • Can I bring my Children?

While we love your children, we ask that you leave your little ones at home. For those of you who are traveling from out of town, we recommend White House Nannies. They practically raised Terrell. Let that be an endorsement or a warning…

  • Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during our church ceremony and stay present in the moment. However, we welcome you to take photos during the reception!

  • What is there to do in DC?

We have put together a helpful guide here to give you some suggestions as you are planning your trip.

  • What is the schedule of events?

We are working on a comprehensive schedule of events. Please keep checking back to this website for announcements and updates.

Registry

We have been blessed with so much over the past years. Many of you are traveling globally to celebrate with us in Washington, DC, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for. If you'd still like to contribute to our registry, feel free to select from the options below.

Please ignore all Jack’s requests for a jetski…

How to stay informed?

We will do our best to share updates via email as they happen but just in case your inbox is a little full, here are copies of all of our email announcements
